R7 Employee Spotlight

Region 7 ESC Employee Spotlight

At Region 7 ESC, we're proud to shine a light on the incredible individuals who dedicate their lives to making a difference in education. Our biweekly Employee Spotlight highlights team members whose passion and commitment help shape the future of our students. Through their hard work and expertise, they support both teachers and students across the region. This week, we're excited to introduce three standout employees who exemplify what it means to lead with heart.

Cindy Silvey

R7 Employee Spotlight Cindy Silvey

Cindy works in the Business Department and has been in education for 4 years.

"Encouraged by several family members and friends, I transitioned from healthcare to education, a decision that has been incredibly rewarding. I had the privilege of working with a local school district where I witnessed numerous achievements by students, staff, and the district as a whole. Now, I am excited to continue my professional growth and am eager to contribute to and celebrate the successes of Region 7 and the districts we support."

Nella Custer

R7 Employee Spotlight Nella Custer

Nella works in the State & Federal Programs Department and has been in education for 4 years.

"Fresh out of college, I started my professional career as a Testing Specialist at a community college and fell in love with being in the world of education without being a traditional classroom teacher. As all roads lead to the ESC, I joined the Federal Programs Department and have never felt more at home, especially with the ESSA and McKinney-Vento programs. Seeing the positive impact we have on students in at-risk, impoverished, and less than ideal situations by increasing awareness to district personnel is the perfect spotlight of services Region 7 provides to our districts. Being even a small piece of this puzzle is so fulfilling and drives me to do my best for our students everyday."

Stacey Noble

R7 Employee Spotlight Stacey Noble

Stacey works in the Curriculum Services Department and has been in education for 31 years.

"I made the decision to become a teacher because my belief has always been that EVERY child deserves the best opportunity to learn and grow. Building relationships, teaching and learning with others are true callings of mine that motivate me every day to continue the work. Being a part of Region 7 gives me the opportunity to be able to fulfill my lifelong desire to serve in a capacity that helps to inspire, empower, and lead others to help fulfill their educational and interpersonal goals.  I feel truly blessed to serve with such a positive and supportive community of educators!"
