Carrie Chandler is a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Specialist at Region 7 ESC, bringing over 10 years of experience in the field of Career and Technical Education. With 20 years in education, Carrie has served in various roles, including teacher, coach, and administrator. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies and Secondary Education from the University of Texas at Tyler (2005) and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, also from UT Tyler (2015). Carrie is deeply committed to advancing CTE programs to combat generational poverty, helping school districts deliver high-quality educational opportunities that prepare students for success. She is an experienced statewide presenter, having shared her expertise with organizations such as the Career and Technical Association of Texas, the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals, and the Texas Association of School Administrators. Carrie’s work focuses on supporting districts in enhancing College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) for improved accountability and increasing funding through Career and Technical Education initiatives.
