Christie Lammers

Christie Lammers is a Child Nutrition Specialist at Region 7 ESC. Christie holds both a bachelor's and Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from The University Of Central Arkansas. She is a Registered Dietitian licensed to practice in the state of Texas. Christie is a certified K-8 educator with an alternative certification from Texas A&M University, Texarkana. Christe holds a School Nutrition Specialist Certification from the School Nutrition Association. Christie spent 17 years directing Child Nutrition Programs in both Texas and Arkansas. Prior to joining the Region 7 team, Christie served as the Director of Student Nutrition & Culinary Services at Texarkana ISD. In her role, she managed the Child Nutrition Program for 10 local districts. Christie has experience working with a diverse group of programs and can offer support to districts large and small. 

Christie has served on the Executive Committee of the Texas School Nutrition Association Board of Directors. Christie presents at local and state conferences. Christie is now focused on supporting Region 7 District’s Child Nutrition Departments in developing effective systems to improve outcomes, increase compliance with regulatory agency guidelines, and promote excellence within the field of school nutrition.
