Michele Mangrum
Michele Mangrum serves as an ESSA Specialist in the Center for State and Federal Programs at Region 7 ESC. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Tyler, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from East Texas Baptist University, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University-Texarkana. Additionally, Michele is a certified Registered Texas School Business Administrator (RTSBA) through the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO).
Before joining the Region 7 ESSA team, Michele gained extensive experience as a classroom teacher, interventionist, campus administrator, and district administrator, serving Region 7 Local Education Agencies (LEAs). Michele is dedicated to supporting Region 7 LEAs by ensuring all students have access to a fair, equitable, and high-quality education.
