Joey King

Joey King is a School Safety Specialist at the Region 7 ESC.  Joey holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and a TCOLE Master Peace Officer Certificate.  Prior to joining the Region 7 Team, Joey served as the Chief of Police for the Lindale ISD Police Department.  Joey is a certified ALICE/ATP trainer, Certified BTA Trainer and IDA Coordinator at Region 7.  Joey assists LEAs in achieving compliance with TEA and statutory requirements.  Joey also works with LEAs in maximizing the benefits of school safety and security grants issued by the State of Texas and other entities.
