Chalease Denson, M.S.

Chalease Denson is a Special Education Liaison at the Region 7 Education Service Center. She brings 28 years of diverse education experience, having served as a classroom teacher, in both special education as well as general education, 504 coordinator, special education coordinator, and special education director in East Texas districts. As special education director, her focus areas included special education and Section 504.  In her current role, she provides training and technical assistance to LEAs in the areas of Results Driven Accountability and Significant Disproportionality, cyclical and targeted monitoring, strategic support plans, corrective action plans, special education self-assessment, and data analysis.
