Michele Stokes, M.Ed.

As the Elementary Science Curriculum Specialist for Region 7 Education Service Center, I am privileged to support K-5 science teachers in providing high-quality instruction to the students of East Texas. I also serve as the STEM Lead for Region 7.
 
In my prior roles, I taught 5th and 1st grades in self-contained and departmentalized environments, served as an Elementary Science Specialist supporting multiple campuses, and most recently, facilitated the beginning teacher/mentoring programs for Tyler ISD through their Teaching and Learning Department. 
 
I completed my undergraduate work at Stephen F. Austin State University and earned my Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with STEM emphasis from Texas A&M University.
