Keynote Divider
Jeffrey Yarbrough PictureJeffrey Yarbrough, a 27-year police and army veteran, will serve as this year’s keynote speaker. Chief Yarbrough was sworn in as the Chief of the Hutto (Texas) Police Department in April 2022 and is known for his innovative and transformational leadership. His session will focus on actionable strategies to enhance school safety while fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
 
Prior to joining Hutto PD, Chief Yarbrough served as the inaugural Chief of Police for the Round Rock Independent School District and held leadership roles in Bastrop ISD and the Travis County District Attorney’s Office. He has extensive experience in law enforcement, school safety, and public integrity investigations. Chief Yarbrough holds a Master of Science degree in Educational Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University and has completed leadership programs at Northwestern University and Blue Ridge Community College.
